I've been really trying to work on my lag latley to create more power like everyone says. It helps with my irons and wedges since they are shorter clubs and i am noticing a bit more power. But when i get to the 4 iron, 3 wood, and mainly the driver, the slicing begins. Any tips? When they say to hold the angle, i do. but it just leaves the clubface wide open at impact.

thanks for any tips

Could be 100 reasons?
What are you doing right not to generate your lag? That should just come with good swing mechanics, shoudlnt have to do anything special to generate enoug of it. If yuo're goin for some psycho good shots that invovle basically sling shooting the club i say dont bother?

The flex of your wood/driver shoudl get the club head squared up, shouldnt have to do anything aslong as your setup is right.

3-4 iron..... IMO its just in your head, Overswinging will do it, bad setup will to.

My Clubs:
Ping I3 + blade 3-pw
9.5 09 Burner with prolaunch red
Nickent 4dx driver
Taylormade Z tp 52, 56, 60
