I am looking to replace my Sirxon 201-I irons and like what I have see on the three irons listed in the title. I am going to hit all three but I was wondering if anybody has any comments on any of the iron sets.

I can't comment on the Rapture or Fusion but the MP-60's feel like a hot knife through butter when struck but have a pretty high trajectory.

The Fusions aren't going to have that forged iron feel because they aren't forged. However, they are an outstanding set of irons that are

very forgiving. They offer exceptional feel. Because of the insert technology they aren't quit as harsh as other sets of forged irons when you wander away from the sweet spot. Just know that you won't get that "hot knife through butter feeling" you get with forged irons but you might score a lot better with them. Can't really comment on either of the other sets.

Seems to me that all 3 sets are completely different aren't they? I mean the Rapture is along the lines of a super game-improvement iron with a big wide sole, tungsten plug in the toe, and a ton of offset. MP-60's are on the other end of the spectrum, minimal offset, thin top line, muscleback. The fusions seem to be smack dab in the middle of them, but when you try to balance both ends of the spectrum, you do both in a mediocre manner (IMO).

That being said, what are you looking for in your irons? Game improvement features? Workability and feel? Reason I ask is because if I was to pick 3 sets of irons to choose from, I guess they'd probably have more in common with each other than these choices do...

    • Update:   From my lesson I mentioned to the coach the regrip and he spotted me doing it as I placed my right hand on the grip of all places 🀣 we worked to maintain the left hand and weaken the right, slightly weaker face angle at parallel and holding the face open through impact, nice straight fades, some small some big but a big departure from the duck hooks. Now just need to slowly dial it back to either a manageable fade or straight-ish
    • I use four different sharpie markings on my golf balls. A single black dot on each side near the number, flourencent yellow along the alignment, and a series of 5 to 6 dots on the opposite side from the alignment. I've found that after applying markings, it's best to hit em with a hair dryer and allow 24 hours to cure before playing. This should cut down dramatically on transfer. It's also a good idea to make sure your sharpie's are fresh, not old.

    • Going to go against the grain a bit here and say that pain isn't as severe as we think it is sometimes.  A lot of times if something has been there for a long time it is really neurological.  Unless a sports med tells you it's likely to tear I would keep going with physio until a doctor tells you not to.  Good luck
