I never did buy and never will buy anything Tiger related--not a fan of his so why would I support him, and now less than ever--more chance of "never"

Wow, I understand if someone is simply not a fan...but are people still bagging him for what he did? What was it? 7 months ago? Are peoples live that monotonous to still be talking about it? Are these the type of people who fill in the daily crossword and only talk about the weather?

People need to really focus on their own problems, which are far more important than Tiger Woods' in terms of an effect on their own lives.

Did anyone watch Tiger on T.V to pick up family value skills? No. They watched him because hes a ••••ing amazing golfer.

Sports stars should never be role models, because no one knows enough about them to base their own life on.

Not to argue...... But try explaining that philosofy to millions of kids. Kids adore sports stars.

I agree, it is hard for kids to not take them on as role models....

But it's not the kids who blow it out of proportion when things surface, and start ripping in to them etc

It's the adults.

Kids take them for sports stars, nothing else. Adults take them for every aspect of their life.

Honestly I can't think of too many Teenage boys that would be terribly upset to find that Tiger was banging a lot of chicks. And for the little kids.....I think good parenting would solve that issue,

Finally graduated college and have a stable paying job...

Never bought any in the first place. Never plan to.

I have a one of a kind autographed picture of him from very early in his career... first or second year on tour. It was taken by a friend of my brother-in-law at a Monday practice round at one of the Florida stops. He went home and developed and printed it in his home darkroom that night, then brought it back the next day and got it signed. I received it as a birthday present. It's hanging on the wall above my computer desk. It may or may not be worth something someday, but I don't really care one way or the other. It does make a nice conversation piece.

Exactly.

Most would applaude it lol

I voted yes because Tigers recent transgressions don't change the way I think of him. He's a great golfer and that is the reason I respect him. I don't care about an athletes personal life, I care about their professional performance.

That said, I've got myself two autographs from Tiger already....both of which I got myself at tournaments. One is on a very faded hat, along with Retief Goosen, Ernie Els and Phil Michelson. Retief even made a comment because I got his signature after I had Tiger sign, he said something like "you sure you don't want to keep this a Tiger only hat kid?".

Waiting for summer...

I never have bought anything TW however the nike clubs that they stamp a TW on are nice... heres things I would spend money on

Nice nike clubs if they were at a steal
Nike Polo with a TW logo if on sale

hats and other crap is a waste. Honestly if I can find it without the TW i would buy the non logo first. I have always been that way. Why be someone else when you can be yourself.

However I would capitalize and buy signed stuff if you have the cash. My buddy just bought a Masters flag signed by tiger for a discounted price on ebay. His accomplishments and numbers on the course dont change, he will still hold records when its all said and done and the worthiness that beckett and other memorabilia companies determine will still hold value. I know im jealous of the masters flag which is BA

I give Tiger a pass, because i didn't care about his personal life before or after the scandal.

The sponsor that reworked his old man's words about his mother (to trick people into thinking they were somehow related to Tiger banging a bunch of cocktail watresses) was fairly lame though.

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
