Z Blend compared to 695mb

I posted a topic 2 weeks ago stating that I lost my 9 iron. Still can't find a Titleist 695mb 9 iron but I have found a couple of websites that have Titleist Z Blend forged 9 irons. 695mb and Z Blend use the same "Z" imprinted technology in the back of the iron. The Z blend's 9 iron is the same as the 9 iron in the Z muscle back irons. Considering buying the Z Blend 9 iron to replace my 695mb 9 iron. For those that have hit both, should I expect a big difference or alot of similarity in terms of feel and performance?

You're thinking of the ZM's not the 695mb's. I had a set of 695mb's and a set of ZM's, they're pretty close. Not exact.

Come to think of it... I've got a ZM 9-iron in my office. The sole is a little damaged but still playable. Shoot me an IM if you're interested in it and I can send you some pics.

Sent you a PM with my email. I know the lofts aren't exactly the same, the ZM/ZB series have 43 degrees of loft while the 695mb have 44 degrees but same bounce and swingweight so I'm fine. But thanks for the input, reassured me that this is the right call.
