Guys...my Hogans Apex Plus are from 1996. I like the Hogans, but ready for something new. I am not ready to dump $800+ into a new set of irons but came across a very gently used set of these Titleist 695CB. They have the Project X 6.0 shafts that are right for me in them. Anyone have any experience with these irons? I can get them for about 1/2 of what I am finding their value is online. Much appreciated.

I used the 695cb's before i switched to the AP2's. Im very fond of them and i still keep a set as backups. They feel great and they are very playable. Though i had DG shafts in mine so they might play differently from what you might find. They are also lofted strong, so they will launch lower than you might expect.

Thanks. One of the reason for my switch is to gain a little distance in my irons. Seems like the new irons hit it a little further. I love hitting my short irons low...so a low ball will not be an issue for me.

The 5-4-3 irons are not the easiest to get into the air, but i think you'll be happy with them if youre looking to keep the ball down. You might notice slighty more spin, as well.

That means you could easily sell them if you don't like them.

I still game the 695mb's, the muscle counter part of the 695 series. Great clubs, first ever forged irons I hit that were forgiving but yet you can work the ball any way you want. I think some(maybe a few) Titleist players still game the 695 series.
