It indeed goes farther. The carry wasn't much farther but the thing rolls forever. I guess its because it weighs a little more. Like I said, they're not USGA legal, but if you're just out having fun, you might oughtta give them a try. Heck, those little chippers people use are illegal too!


There’s nothing illegal about a chipper (I don’t use one, BTW). Both Odyssey (Marxman X-Act) and Cleveland (Niblick) make a chipper. Both of these are totally USGA conforming. The only time a chipper becomes illegal is when someone changes the grip to a flat sided putter grip.
