has anybody bought this system? if so does the fundamentals and drills actually help? the ad guarantees that after reading the material and applying it (w/practice of course) that you will drop shots and eventually break 80 consistantly. I was just wondering if any body has tried it yet. Also let me know of any other "self-instruction" materials that have worked for ya.

no, it's not. It's like offering a pill, for curing "All diseases". No matter what is your problem - cold, allergies, broken limb, cancer - take this pill and you'll feel great. Yeah right.

Every player has different problems, which require personal approach. There is no "quick fix" or "fix it all" in golf. Save up the money and get 1 lesson at your local pro ($50 ?). You'll be much better off spending 1/2 hr with a professional than buying this.

rafi is rigt, theres no one way to break 80. golf is quite an expensive activity and putting money into teaching pros is always worth it.
i will say this though, if you dont mind wasting a few bucks go ahead and buy that video so we can all hear just how ridiculous it is :)

I actually found a co-worker that did purchase the program. As far a riduculous goes I would have to say that it isn't. I read the program and what it basically teaches is the "basics" of the golf swing. Breaks it down into simple steps. No blockbuster new techniqes, but solid instruction on hip turn, balance, shoulder turn and so on. As far as breaking 80 goes, practicing these drill could and will help, but people need to realize that (and the author even says as much) this instruction is to "give you the tools and drills to practice and work into your own game". As I said for a beginner looking to drop some shots and not break the bank it may not be a bad idea.
