I just got a set of callaway x22 but was suspicious cause how cheap I got them I checked the number on the 8 iron and the lady at callaway said it was one of. Theirs but I checked it side by side with some at the pro shop andtheblue color. Looks diffrent an green outline andthe actual numbers are bigger than mine has anyone has had this happen sn match but somethin obvious looks wrong . And curious y they play well for me

How much did you pay for them?/Where were they shipped from? I assume you mean the serial number on the 8 iron, but just because it checks out doesn't mean the club's authentic.

Pages 200 got em from a local store he custom fitted them they have a true temper shaft he said the guy before him didn't like the uniflex I would think a club maker should have spotted something before he sold it. The weird thing is I've played 2 rounds with em and hit well with them

oh man this sounds awfully familiar....
a coworker of mine had a set of callaway x irons with graphite shafts
the pro he was getting lessons from mentioned how the flex didnt seem uniform among the different clubs
so he went to a golf shop to compare and contrast from the ones they had

apparently his were knockoffs that he had bought from ebay for cheap
they had each club individually wrapped with callaway stickers so looked authentic
BUT source was from china! (he didnt know that was a shady sign to begin with)

anyway, not sure if this applies to you
thought id share this warning in case

Id expect you to get your money back plus more if they are fake. Something like that can ruin a local store.
