They are also made out of let's say ABS because this material has more flex and come back to the original form after a small accident, also because it is lighter. In a driver's head this means they can move the weight to area's where it helps most ..... it is just a modern way of thinking. I think your driver is very fine, total construction of 4 Titanium parts, but Titanium is also adding weight (compared to Carbon fibre) at places you don't benefit from.

I think the fusion drivers are ok with the hard plastic, but I hope they dont only start making fusion drivers for their high end clubs. btw Ive owned a FT-5 driver and while it was a good driver I still prefer an all titanium driver or atleast mostly titanium. I didnt feel any benefits from the club being hard plastic with some weights in it, I would rather have a titanium driver with weights because I tend to hit them better and they are more pure to me.
