Question about replacing grips on fitted clubs

So when I got fitted for my irons I got a little bigger grips on them (+1/16") to help with my hook. They've been great, they feel fantastic. I've decided to replace my grips every winter as the difference between new and worn grips is definitely noticeable. The local shop I go to told me they only have standard size grips (Golf Pride New Decade Multicompound). Will having them add several wraps of tape be the equivalent or should I try and find another place to do them? I need to get my driver and wedges done here in the next week or two, so any information or advice for this will help greatly!

A couple of extra wraps should do the trick.

that's all they do in the tour van... I have +2 wraps, including the base layer, so I guess that's +1 depending on how you look at it.

Find another shop. What golf shop doesnt have 25 different kinds of grips? Every one I have ever been to has a rack with plenty different kinds of grips in all different sizes. Even the range I go to has 5 or 6 different sets on display and offers undersize midsize and jumbo in all flavors. Tape adds weight. If you need a midsize buy a midsize.
