So today... I shot a abnormal but near normal round of 74!!! One may ask, "What is so bad or normal about a 74"? The answer is this, I have battled over the last few months of enjoying a round of golf and I did today. This was with the 1st time in my semi-pro life at golf 3 putting 3 greens in a row. I went from 2 under to 2 over in the matter of 4 holes but you know what it, did not bother me! This is the reason, I made myself hit a 3 wood off the tee half the time today and the round seemed really easy for me. I did not struggle of the tee, sure I hit a couple of wayward shots but I made some really good choices, even more so with my approach shots. So what is the moral of the discussion here? Stay in the moment, life is short and keep the perspective... We are playing a game and I think in the last couple of months I have crossed that bridge where it is fun for me again... I am really excited about the next couple of months and the tournaments I will be playing in. I won my last with a -2 that could have been better but hey, I am a amature!!!!
