2 Questions!

Hey anybody and everybody.

I've got 2 questions for someone who is nice enough to answer.

1. Are you allowed to play with a spike missing from one of your golf shoes?

2. Can I restart my handicap? I want to erase all of my previous scores and start from scratch. Am I allowed to do that.

1: Don't see why that would be a problem. Not that I believe anyone would even notice, except you.
2: Why would you? If your game is that of a 19 handicapper, you'll just race down the scale to the same level again pretty quickly.

Your handicap is an indication of your potential, by using the 10 best of your last 20 rounds. I don't see what erasing those rounds will do. Your handicap is calculated after playing and recording at least 5 rounds of golf. Once you have played 5 rounds, you'll get whatever handicap you played to those rounds. Play a total of 20 rounds and the current scores are history.

Under the rules, sure. But if you don't want to risk damaging your shoes I'd be careful about doing that.

No. And there's no reason to... just play golf and kick your old scores out.
