Recommendations for a new cart bag?

I don't carry at all anymore (back surgery), and I've been struggling with my current cart bag, a Callaway Big Bertha. I'm not really picky about brand names, but have a few things that really aggravate me about this bag. The lack of individual dividers makes it tough to pull clubs out when I've been pushing them and the grips get tangled together. It's very hard to keep the clubs organized, and I want an external putter well or clip. I don't carry a lot in the pockets, a few balls and a couple small towels when it's hot, so storage room isn't really a concern.

I'm just a very organized person in life, and would like my clubs organized when I'm on the course.

So far, I've looked at the BagBoy Revolver Pro and the Bennington Quiet Organizer, both seem to fit my needs. But I'm open to all suggestions and comments.

I couldnt take the tangling of my clubs no more, so I HAD to buy my revolver. It is pretty sound, as you will rarely use its revolving feature, each club has a spot and is locked into it.

Seconding this. I had my eye on this one for quite a while because of the 14 full length dividers and the extra large cooler pocket. I bought three little ice packs, and throw them in the cooler pack before I head out for a round. It keeps my drinks nice and cold throughout the entire round. And because it's a cart bag, I don't care about the extra weight of the ice packs.

I've got the same bag and I absolutely love the thing! Good bag. I really love the full length dividers, it makes everything so much easier! I would definitely recommend this bag to anyone.

For the 'cooler compartment'.. people who throw ice packs in..
what happens to the water/condensation? how does it work to dry?

Most "cooler compartments" have one or two small drainage holes at the bottom (the Cally Org 14 has two holes). Totally agree with HookEmHorns, Koth and Alley Cat!

Yeah, there are drainage holes at the bottom. I've never had a problem with the cooler pocket getting wet due to condensation.

instead of ice packets. can you put actual ice cubes in?

I've never had problems with anything getting wet either. I just throw ice in it and I don't have to worry about it.

You could if you wanted... It has a waterproof lining and drainage holes at the bottom. Ice packs or even zip lock bags with ice in them might be better though. This way I can make sure there isn't too much water that might leak into my trunk after the round. Even still... it's only water and it's proably 140* in my trunk during the summer.

its got an abundance of pockets and is as light as my stand bag. It also has 14 individual dividers and one being the putter on the front / along with an seperate umbrella pocket. I will have in bought by the end of august :))))

I just recently purchased a Nike M9 cart bag. Plenty of storage, lightweight and looks kick-ass!!! $159.00. Options is three colors, blue, black and grey. Mine is the grey color bag.

I recently got the Mizuno Omega V cart bag, it has everything your looking for, 14 way club devider, external putter well, cooler for a few cold beverages. I've only been using it for about a month and half, but so far so good.

I have the titleist lightweight cart bag, great bag, love how all the pockets face out, there is a drink pocket as well that can hold, maybe 3 bottles of water. I use a cooler anyway in that little basket in the cart. The two full length pockets hold anything else you need. the putter well is perfect as well.
