titleist tour velvet vs. golf pride tour velvet

So Ive noticed that the last grips on my ap2, titleist tour velvet .580, are slightly different than the golf pride tour velvet .580. The titleist ones seem more spongy or something, i really liked it though. The golf pride ones arent as spongy but they are suppose to be exactly the same. Has anyone noticed this?

Both feel exactly the same to me. I use the tour velvet on my driver and 3wood and have noticed no difference between the titleist logo one, and the regular golf pride one.
