I've been reading about the S&T; swing for the past week or so and ordered the book and DVDs. I have read the first couple chapters of the book so I'm just scratching the surface of the swing fundamentals. Here are some videos I took today of my first time attempting to try the swing.

Most of my misses are low pull-hooks. I struggle with this especially with the driver. I appreciate all comments/criticisms!

Looks like you might be falling back a little.

For the driver hooks, I had the same thing. Make a neutral grip, and work on making a bigger shoulder turn, you'll get more power that way too. That's what worked for me.

It does look like you fell back some on that 1st driver shot right at impact. When I get hooks or pulls with S&T is when I start the downswing with my shoulders. I try and think of pulling down on a rope with my hands to start the downswing BEFORE I start turning my hips or shoulders back and then I hit em straight. Well straighter. Or actually more drawish.. Let's just say better.

After another trip to the range today, I'm still having the same issue on most of my shots which are mishits. With my irons I'm hitting low pull hooks and with my driver I'm hitting low pull worm burners on at least half my drives.

I feel like I'm doing something wrong with my wrists which is totally throwing me off at impact with a closed face and other problems. In fact, I don't even know what I'm supposed to do with my wrists at all. It's almost as if I'm coming around the outside of the ball with a closed club face which in turn is creating top/left spin. I really feel like I'm swinging in to out but something I'm doing is causing me to hit the outside of the ball with the club face closed.

Also for some reason the ONLY time I hit great drives, I focus on swinging down with more force/speed.

Are you a baseball player? I used to be one and I know the fact you can't swing a golf club properly if you're playing HS or College baseball. Most baseball players I know hook the balls.

Fix your arm extension. Straighten your left arm as you start your backswing, and then come down with straighten left arm. Leg extension looks good. That advice should be your first goal in mind

Yes, actually I was a baseball player. I'll try to keep that in mind re: straightening my left arm when I play tomorrow.
