New here so I thought I would pick your brains. 12 years ago I stopped playing and caught the bug early this summer. I have been knocking around for the past few months and I have come to the conclusion that my nearly 20 year old King Cobras need to stay in the garage.

I have my choices narrowed down to the mx100s and the a3s. With the Adams set I would need to mix at least one wedge and with the Mizunos I would need to find a longer hybrid. Adams is cheaper, but I haven't hit them. I have hit the Mizunos and they feel fine off the synthetic turf in the back of the shop near me. Real hard to tell what they will do on the course. My goal is to get an inexpensive set that will transition me back to my normal scoring range (high 70s).

Sure, I could soldier on and make the King Cobras work, but I don't have near the time I used to have to work on my game. Thanks in advance all.

Found the store I think. Getting the stuff customized may be the way to go. Not sure on my lie angle, but everything else is easy enough.

for the most part, it just goes by what your height and wrist to floor measurement is...

http://www.ping.com/pdfs/PING_Color_Code_Chart.pdf , pings color code chart is a good basis to start off of, although all companies wont have the same standard lengths and lies

Picked up the MX-100s today. In the end they offered the most consistent feel and comfort of any of the 5 sets I hit (A7, X20s, Mach Speeds, and Burners being the others). Also got a solid deal. Anyone looking for a set of irons shouldn't overlook these. Real hard to miss and the feedback is awesome for this these types of clubs. Now, if it would only stop raining.....
