Looking to get new irons

I've been using Taylormade Firesole irons for the past years, and looking to upgrade but not spend much money. I am trying to find a used set for $150-$200 off Ebay/Craigslist. Can anyone give some opinions on any good sets I can find in this price range?

Not really, no. Just see what's out there then search for or solicit reviews. Almost every response to a question without at least a starting point, will include the iron set the poster is using. Do you want a set someone used to "get down" to a 40 index? Do you want a set that a +1 finds easy to control? Probably somwhere in the middle, and that's where the suggestions are basically the sig line in a different font.

I have not used them personally, but I know that are quite a few on here that use GigaGolf Irons... They seem to be in that price range... But like I said, I can't really speak to their performance or quality one way or another.

Sell your Firesole's on ebay, that will give you ~$120 according to valueguide.pga.com. Add that to your original $200 you are willing to spend and get a set of G10's or something like that off ebay.

I sold my Firesole's for $80 on Craigslist, and bought a used set of MacGregor MT Pro M Irons in great condition for $120 off Craigslist. It's pouring here, so I'll have to wait to test them out.

Congrats on the new clubs... hope you hit them well. I really like McGregor irons and considered the Pro-C version before settling on my Hogans.

Search for Titleist +cb to see the entire forged cavity back line from Titeist. Theser are 690's and look to be in good shape for less than 200.

Do you have a GolfSmith or Golf Galaxy near you? You could always look at their used club section, or even new club section to give you some ideas about which direction you want to go. I've spotted many things in stores (cameras, the putter in my avatar, computer equipment and games) that I then went on to buy online MUCH cheaper.
