How hard are tour courses?

I just played East Lake in Atlanta (Tour Championship site), and it is definitely tougher than the average course even from my regular length tees. I usually shoot 85 - 88 when I'm playing decent. I shot a 96 and never lost a ball. Took a while to find balls two feet off the first cut. Couldn't hit anything longer than a 7 iron for any distance out of the rough. But if you hit fairways and can put on glass, it's not that much harder.

Driver: Superquad 9.5° - XS
3 Wood: Big Bertha II 15° - S
Irons: Mizuno MX-20
Wedges: Mizuno 50-06, 56-11, 60-05
Putter: Hog Mallet
