Most boring 2 man scramble ever!!

We played in a 2 man over the weekend and man it was terrible! I think we made 3 birdies over two days. We couldn't get any putts to drop at all. The par 5s were terrible. I think we only birdied 1 over 2 days! And they were all reachable. Our proximity to the pin wasn't as good as usual, but we had putts that should have dropped. And then to top it off, the guys we played with Saturday were hitting putts that were bouncing the entire way to the cup and dropping from like 40+ feet! I had never seen anything like it in my life. That was one of the few times that my opponents' play actually got to me a little bit. It just got really frustrating seeing that! We finished even on Saturday and -2 on Sunday. It was not a good weekend.

I forgot to mention one part that was not boring. The number 1 hole is a par 4 and there is a par 3 that runs almost parallel to the first hole. One guy hooked his drive off of number 1 and thought it was OB. As he was driving to the green, the guys on the par 3 were asking him if he hit a ball that direction and he said yes. They said, well, you need to go get it out of the cup so we can putt! He holed it out! That was about the most exciting thing that happened all weekend.
