So, I made what I consider to be a major breakthrough in consistency and accuracy this past week and have taken it from the range several times to the greens. I use to be slice like crazy and just had no confidence in where my ball would go, but I did two key things that I had to force myself to accept and commit to even though it felt odd, but the pay off its generating has boosted my confidence greatly. The two things I did were as follows:

1.) Turn my right hand (trailing) towards the target, as it used to be towards the sky (open)
2.) Upon take away, I turn my hands to open the club face a bit quicker, as my hands naturally turn back to their original position at impact more consistently

I've found that with this its much easier to predict where my shot is going and I was finally able to work the ball in a draw or fade as I wanted.

Im wondering is this a common thing that most golfers already knew and im just stumbling upon, now into my 5th year of playing?

Yep, right now my stock shot is a push fade, probably need to strengthen my grip a bit to get that draw back, but i like it for irons. So i just play that shot 99% of the time, which means,

If the pin is to the left side of the green i aim at the pin and have the ball land near the center of the green. If the pin is in the center then that same shot works really well, if its to the right i will aim for the center of the green.

Thats how i like to play, i can really get around the course well this way. I know that my wedges will curve less, probably about 1 yard, my longer irons will curve about 5 yards left to right.
