I am going to be going to Edwin Watts later and I will be purchasing a GPS finally! I am just wanting to know.. uPro vs uPro Go?

Also I am getting the Adidas Tour 360 4.0.. Can't wait but I know I CAN'T let the parents know haha..

I have no experience with the uPro Go, but I loved my friend's uPro when I borrowed it. Unfortunately, he wanted it back. Plus, it doesn't cooperate with my computer (Ubuntu), otherwise I'd have gone out and purchased one.

Thanks for your response.. I figured since I was out from the office earlier, golf, school business to take care of I would have gotten about 5 replies haha Oh well.

I went with the uPro because I figured hey if I'm going to get a gps it might as well be good and why not pay the extra $50?!

I voted upro just to help kick in the buyers remorse and screw with your head. $50 is nothing. Better off getting the better one.

Do any of you that use GPS experience dead zones while on the course? How accurate do you find the uPro GPS?

To OP:
Did you do your research? If so could you enlighten me as to why you chose to go with uPro instead of a SkyCaddie or the likes. Always debated between a laser/GPS.

Yea I did.. One thing is that I won't always use the pro mode but on the courses I will be playing up in Austin when I move in about 4 months and with the uPro you don't have to pay yearly only per course if you want the pro mode for the specific course. I will use the basic quite a bit and also another thing is they added scoring which is neat. I just didn't want to pay $30 a month for SkyCaddie... I was going to get a range finder but I like seeing what exactly is ahead of me so I can plan my shots.

Do you think the uPro is not good or where you just asking for the sake of getting a GPS/rangefiner?
If so, I played with one today and I was pretty impressed.

Tested it out today on the course and it is AWESOME. I am glad I went with it.. Very accurate on all holes and I liked the distance tracker and how you can mark to a certain spot where you want to be and it will show you angles of attack and the yardage. It is pretty sweet if you ask me, it has all the things I have been looking for in a GPS and the fly over is really cool.
