I've never been to California and never felt one before, but we had a few recently.

My wife and I were at an opera (no jokes please) last night and the entire place shook. That was just a short, small 2.4 centered a few miles away. I can't imagine what a larger one would be like.

It felt like a large rumble of thunder or a train going by.

Fairways and Greens.

...My wife and I were at an opera (no jokes please) ...

no jokes needed, it's a joke on it's own

but seriously - yea, that's some scary s..tuff. About 12-13 years ago while living in Germany I experienced pretty decent one ( the epi-centrum was in Turkey or northern Italy...) It sounded like a HUUUGE truck was driving by or a huge cargo plane flew right over the house. The lamp was rocking, books flew out of shelfs and I woke up scared shitless I guess since it happend middle of the night it was even worse - I needed some time to figure out what was going on. Something is happening... first Hawaii, now NC... wonder what's next.

Good thing it didn't happen over the weekend during the cup. Scary stuff but glad to hear you and the Mrs. made it though the opera

Yeah, that's crazy news. I would never imagine an earthquake in North Carolina. We have had a few here in Oklahoma, but most of those were more than 50 years ago. There have a been a couple in the past decade, but they barely even registered on the Scale.

Dave, were the in-laws freaking out? I'm glad to know that everything is ok though, that's what is important. It's just crazy that we were all just there three days ago.

Not really. They woke up the other morning when the first one hit. I, of course, slept right through it. The second one was small - 1.5 - but closer to us. They said the dogs barked but they didn't feel anything. The one around 9:11 that hit they definitely felt...they said the house shaked a bit.

It was really freaky sitting in the theater though. The third act had just started and the entire place shimmered. The music and performers kept going but there was murmuring throughout the crowd for a few moments. Like I said, I can't even imagine what a large earthquake - lasting more than a second - would be like.

Fairways and Greens.

    • Yes, because you have lifted to like 120° without bending the left elbow. So when you turn and the left elbow bends… it bends in such a way that you then lower your left humerus and pull the club around you.

    • Day 292 6-23 Worked on wrist arching for a bit today and then some low point control.
    • Day 3 (23 Jun 26) - Grandson put in to play this morning when he arrived at the house.  He wanted to play a full 18 from the "purple" tees (these are custom tees that play shorter than our gold but longer than the red) in a best (super) ball duet.  Was a great day working on course management - seeing him play well (for a 10yr old) - for example, hole 12 has a temp green about 100 yds from the tee box, he hits a solid 8i to 4' pin high and nails a birdie putt.  Could have never been prouder.  These are the moments grandfathers dream of - and hopefully the memories he will recall when his day comes to be Paw-paw for his grandson....may the game live on.
    • Posted a couple swings here. I think my attempt to blend the movement still results in a more “around” back swing?
