At my local range, they have a covered area with mats and rubber tees, and also an open air "woods only" section. Will I notice a difference in ball flight off of a rubber tee vs. a standard wooden tee? I try to use the open air part of the range as often as I can, but here in western WA, we are fast approaching the rainy season, and I'm curious if I should be wary of using the rubber practice tees.

I haven't noticed any difference besides that I like set my wooden tees up exactly halfway between the 1 1/4in and 1 1/2in tees that are in the mats. Most days its not a big deal because I can't get my driver to consistently hit within the same 1/4 spot on the club face. On the very rare chance that I can hit my driver that accurately I usually get the taller tee and just move the ball forward slightly in my stance which results in a higher ball flight.
