While I've hit more than my fair share of really crooked drives, the two most memorable ones were when I was very new to golf.

The first one, I was in the tee box with houses on the right-hand side. To protect the houses next to the tee box, there was a fence that had to be 30' high. Well, I sky my tee shot and it goes dead right, clears the fence, and rattles around on the rooftop of a house. My ball rolls off the rooftop and lands dead center of the hot-tub where the owners were sitting with their feet in the water.

The second one, I was partnered up with another single player--he was a very nice elderly gentleman. On the 9th hole, I hit my driver and the ball starts right, draws left and then fades right. The elderly gentleman says to me, "Son, I've seen all kinds of hooks and slices in my 30 years of playing golf. This is the first time I've ever seen an "S" shaped drive."

Hahaha "Excuse me whats the ruling on a ball submerged in your soup sir?"

I was to embarassed to even look to see if it landed in anyones food or knocked anything over. We saw it hit the roof, then heard it land on the outside table where someone yelled WTF? I yelled Fore and then sorry after we heard it hit the table.
