My grandfathers birthday is in mid November. I want to get him a new driver. He is 66. He just recently started playing. The only actual reason he plays is because of me. If I didnt play, he wouldnt even pick up a club. He would never go himself if I didnt go. Golf, for him, is basically a way for us to spend 3-5 hours together when we both aren't working. He always shoots above 100. I try to teach him things as we are going along to improve his game.

So basically I just want to get him a new driver for his birthday thats better then the walmart clubs he currently has. I gave him my starter clubs once I bought my current set. Im looking for opinions for a driver I can buy for him. Something thats easy to hit and is a nice looking driver that I can buy on like ebay for 100 or less. Thanks ahead of time.

Driver I use would be perfect in the right flex. I would really try to get his club head speed measured before you rush off and buy a senior flex.

Tour Edge stuff performs as well as the more expensive stuff and has a lifetime warranty. They don't make junk. Whatever you do, get a nice high loft and make sure the shaft is right for his swing speed. Mine was an experimental buy for 30 some bucks brand new from Golfio on Ebay. Like it so much it is in the bag until I get fitted for a Wishon some time this winter. Check out the Geomax line, you could get one directly from Tour Edge in their preowned section. Good luck.

I agree with this suggestion. An Adams Speedline can be had for cheap and you might want to have it cut down a bit if he's average height. Will allow him to make better contact.
