Lately, one of my biggest problem has been hitting towards the toe. I'm not talking about making terrible contact as it's only a half inch/inch or so off center, and playing game improvement irons helps I bet, but I still feel like I'm definitely losing some distance. What's strange is that for awhile I had a problem with slicing/shanking so I was constantly off near the heel, but ever since I fixed that, I've been way more off the toe a lot. I'm not even making terrible contact, I've been making such better contact than normal with a lot of straight shots and my ball striking has improved dramatically, but it just doesn't feel "flush" when I hit it most times. So does anyone have any ideas of what could be causing this? I've tried simply just moving closer to the ball but this just throws everything off and just causes me to hit it super fat or some ridiculously bad ball flight. Thanks for any help

Well, I had the same thing going on this weekend to the point where I completely toed a wedge. It started subtly and got out of control. Two things come to mind...one is coming over the top and the other is your ball position. For me, I had worked myself so far out of position that I was hitting everyting toey. When I got back on track with address position it worked itself out. Too far from the ball with it too far forward with my uprightish swing is asking for something bad to happen.
