Dilemma: 4 wedges or 2 hybrids?!?!?

I was in a similar boat...I weakened the wedge and did 48-44-40-36-32-28-24-21 (in your case drop the 21 3 iron) and went 54-60 so I have 6 degrees between wedges. I have done the 4 wedges before and it never payed off for me. I actually do better with just 3.

Why don't you get a 52* High Bounce wedge and then bend it to 54*. That should give you the extra bounce you are looking for.

Callaway makes a 56/16 that would be 54/14 if I bent it....is that correct?

I was in a similar situation and pulled the 3 wood out of the bag. I am much more consistant with my 2 hybrid and there is not much difference in distance.

Yep...shouldn't be a problem...that's plenty of bounce for that club.
