So i was starting to get really burn out, had some shanks, had some other issues that was just making me feel tight throughout my entire swing
I went and saw a chiropractor about my shoulders, specifically upper traps and rhomboids.
Anyways he did a few adjustments and a TON of soft tissue stuff / deep tissue massage via graston. The results are great though, i'm striking it pretty pure again with a really high consistency.
What's next is left shoulder flexibility so i can turn a little bit more.
If you fit this category i'd highly recommend seeing a physiotherapist, athletic therapist, massage or chiro about improving the physical aspects.

I am in a long slump and saw my handicap index (HI) go from 12 to 18 in 5 months span.  I've lost one HI point per month.   This month has been brutal with every score in high 90s to low 100s.  I have been suffering from orthostatic hypotension (OH) which I suspect is caused by lower back and neck screw up.   With no other medical explanation (I've seen my doctor) for my OH, I decided to go with my suspicion and see a chiropractor for the first time in my life.  I had two sessions during the week and woke up this morning with considerably less pain on my back and neck, and no OH symptom (dizziness).   It could be a coincidence but I finally stopped my string of bad rounds and scored a 92 today.   92 does not seem like a huge improvement from high 90s and low 100s but I had two blow up holes (10, 10).    Without those two holes, I had 6 GIRs, 7 pars, and a birdie and my score would have been very good.   Did my chiropractic sessions helped my score?   I will have to wait and see.   I am just happy to stop the bleeding for a change.

My chiropractor did the same on Wed & Fri.  My Sat & Sun scores are 10 strokes better from the week before.  Perhaps, tightness & pain on my upper back and lower neck were causing bad swing and my slump.   Or, maybe it was time for me to get out of the slump on my own.

Followed up with yesterday's score of 92 (white) with another 92 (blue).  Over the last two rounds, my ball striking got much better.  GIR went from 2.18 to 5.5.

In high school the local chiropractor offered free services to all athletes of my school while their sport was in season. I would go get an adjustment before every home golf match and before all home basketball games. I felt that it really helped me with both sports, but golf in particular. I just had more flexibility and it seemed to provide a more consistent and fluid swing. I always played better after an adjustment.
