hit full swing golf balls for about the first time in two months in the local golf bubble.... a little good a little bad.

The Bad....

- My biggest swing fault i tend not to "stay back" with my hands; in other words, when i drop my hands, they go inside my right hips; as a result, i get stuck and can tend to leave the club face wide open or flip the wrists and lose all control.

- not enough good shots; on my mid/long irons, at least 50% of the swings were some variation of a shank (not as bad as you may think because i was focusing on some very technical things and not really trusting my swing.


The Good....
- On full swings, by "good" shots felt really really good. swung easy, stayed on plane

- Wedges were dialed in; only pulled maybe 1 out of 40 swings (pulls are my swing fault on short club); at one point, i landed 2 out of 3 balls in a bucket 60 yards out and hit several targets.... guess regripped my wedges worked.

- felt pretty comfortable with different finishes (high, med, low); not quite where i want it; but i want to play more low shots in the coming year
