Just got a Vokey wedge set, Spin Milled 52, 56, 60 degree. What is everyone's thoughts on these? Switched from Cleveland. Thought I would give them a try.

They're good wedges bud. I had them but I switched to Nike VR Forged now and I love them. Don't worry though Vokey wedges are top notch! Good luck!

Just got my 51 and 56 as well.  They seem thicker than other wedges I've played, but I wouldn't say it's a bad thing.

I have 4 of em (swapped out my PW from my set) 48* (bent to 47*), 52*, 56*, and 60*.

I absolutely love them. I have so much confidence with one of them in my hands. Vokey + Premium ball = scary spin. Really soft feel too, plays much like a forged club (try to bend them, I dare you....its so easy).

Waiting out the 2 feet of snow that just dropped on the course....

I switched from Clevand to the same loft setup you have. I love them. I feel they are a bit heavier and my ball flight is a bit lower and about 7 yards further with each one.

In the bag-

Hybrid-RBZ tour 4 Irons-  Ping I20s 4-GW with soft stepped X100sWedges 58 and 54 SM4s with soft stepped X100s Putter- Ping TR Senita

I bought the 52.08, 56.10, and 60.12 Vokey wedges when they were first intoduced.  I loved them.  I absolutely wore them out but that took several years!  I have never played with a wedge long enough to wear the chrome from the sole and wear away the grooves on the face.  At different time intervals, I replaced each wedge with the exact same loft and bounce.  My 52 and 60 are polished chrome because I purchased them just before the dull finished, spin milled wedges came out.  The chrome is about worn away from the sole of my 60.  If it makes me mad, I'll replace it with the new spin milled 60.  My 56 is spin milled and the non glare finish is much easier to use.  You can tell, I love Vokey Wedges and I will not change!  You made a good decision and you will enjoy them for many years to come.

the chew up balls so fast its a joke.  Even when though mine is over a year old it will still destroy a ProV1 with ease.  They feel good sure, but if I ever hit a low spinner, the ball is gone.

Are the Vokey C-C wedges any easier on balls?

Only time the C-C's will give you any less spin is out of the rough. Either way, I think it's more the face than the grooves that tear the balls (which is mostly an issue with ProV's than any other ball...go figure)

The ball scuffing will go away a bit as the wedges wear.  Vokey are my favorite personally.  They should be great for you.

    • I had a few tweeks in the bag. I took out my Mizuno pro FliHi 3 iron replaced it with a Titleist GT2 7 Wood. what a change that is, so easy to hit, it goes so high without it ballooning on me. I couldn't get rid of my callaway woods ( Rogue ST Max LS ) but changed the shafts to Diamana BB 63 stiff for the driver and 73 stiff for the 3 wood. Than i got myself a new putter Odyssey S2S jailbird yes i joined the centershaft family
    • First off all i think you should use the same ball all the time. We all strive for consistency on the course, the only factor you can be sure it will be always the same is your ball if you always use the same. So i think we should always use the same. I recently switched from Titleist Pro V1x to Srixon Z-Star Diamond because it i get a bit softer feel around the greens and same results on driver and irons
