Titleist vs Cleveland vCallaway wedges

I use Callaway X-Forged vintage wedges and when I went to purchase a new wedge I opted to go with a Titleist Vokey. I noticed that the 48 degree Vokey was longer than the Callaway X-forged and the same length as the CG15 all of the same loft. My question is is this simply a manufacturer thing and what playing differences will this create? I may have asked this already can't remember and did not check the forums.

It really depends on more than just length.  Type of shaft, shaft flex, club head weight, all will play a factor.  Bounce will probably affect the perceivable "difference" or playability between two clubs of same loft more than length of shaft.  Unless its a custom shaft I can't see the variance of length with the same lofted club to be more than 0.25" between these three manufacturers.  Not enough to be concerned with IMO.
