Ryan Ballengee of ProGolfTalk - Jerk ??

Hi,

I was reading an article by Ryan Ballenger of ProGolfTalk about the Abu Dhabi HSBC .  I filled out an article comment noting that he missed including Kaymer's final score.

The guy responded back very harshly that I should have able to add a couple numbers together to determine Kaymer's under par total.  In general, that I'm the idiot and he's perfect.

I replied back to him that expecting the readers to add numbers to determine a final score was not good writing and that Kaymer's winning score was 264, not something under par - neither number he noted in the article.  He again responded back very harshly.

Now he has removed my comments and his own responses from the comments section of his article.  That's just a low-life thing to do.

Anyone else have similar stories about this guy?

Did he rewrite his article after you commented?  The second paragraph of the article reads:

"Posting a total of 24-under par 264, Kaymer is now 80-under par all-time in Abu Dhabi – site to three of his nine European Tour wins. He went without a bogey in the final 60 holes."

I follow RB's blog on Progolftalk, and he seems OK.  I have seen him respond respectfully to some very unfair criticism.  He did get angry with one nut-job who had it coming.

But I suppose anyone can have a bad day.
