In my set up, how far over should i bend?  I find that if i bend a smaller amount i feel a lot of pressure in my lower back joints.  but if i bend way over to the point where i dont feel any pressure it feels a lot better.

How rigid are you trying to keep your back?

A set of pictures would help us to help you tremendously.

i know, i dont have a camera or enough space in the house to swing and video it.

im trying to keep my back straight...and i have changed my posture to be more bent over already but this is the position that i feel the most stress.  so now i am wondering about bending a little bit more.

i guess im wondering if there is any rule of thumb in the S and T model as to how far is far enough or too much.

This is a position I struggle with at times. I find that if I am hitting the shots left and am not hitting the ground as far in front of it as usual, I have straightened my spine angle at P1 (address) and my hips are too level. Plummer & Bennett's description of having your belt buckle point at the ball is a good one as it raises the back of your belt above the front therefore more "tilt".  Remember you come out of this "flexion" into "extension" as you tilt to the left as you turn back....simple eh???

No, since it's just your setup, take a picture - a still photo - of each of the two positions and post those.
