Ive been lurking these forums for a while now and saw all of the custom paintfills that people are doing on their clubs.  I have been very impressed and decided to try it out on my putter.  Here are some pics of the progress:

Starting point.  Paint was starting to peel off of my 10+ year old putter (still in use)

Took off all the paint with wife's nail polish remover, qtips, and a pin for the hard to reach places

Used Testors acrylic paint with toothpicks to fill generously.

Used a razorblade to shave off excess paint. No thinner needed and it came off pretty clean.  Leveled the height of the painted areas nicely.

I will go home to finish it off and post pics of the completed project.  let me know what you think so far.  Thanks.

Looks good!  What color was the fill at first, its kind of hard to tell from the pics?  Just an idea for you is maybe think about painting the logo on the bottom of the putter a different color other than white to make it pop out.  Maybe red or orange!  Just an opinion but it looks good!

Looking great!

I would also give the Logo a different color, but that's just personal preference.

That looks real good.  I even liked it before you re-painted, with it just all chrome.  I like the white better than the origianl colocr as well.

So I finally finished this weekend.  Got some inspiration from some swirly cough drops that I have been popping the past week.

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
