That will be extremely difficult if not impossible if you don't know a member. My father-in-law was fortunate enough to play (with a member) and said it was one of the best golf courses he's ever played...and he's played hundreds.

I missed out on an opportunity to play back in my corporate days and still regret it to this day! ...one of my business associates was a member there but before we had a chance to play, he was laid off and that was that. A shame that I didnt keep in touch with him. Oh well...

There are times when private clubs may take outsiders for lessons or custom fitting appointments. Most prestigious clubs will say no during the peak season, but as the season and business winds down, try calling and see if they have any openings for a lesson. Get to know the PGA pro and maybe...just maybe you might have a shot of playing one day.
