For anyone who has been properly fitted - do you play the same flex in your 3 wood shaft that you play in the driver?

I was fitted for a driver last weekend, and they recommended an X Flex shaft.  Playing X Flex really never crossed my mind, but I'm going to give it a try.  Asking about fitting for a 3 wood never crossed my mind, and I don't really want to go pay another $30 for that.

So... if I benefit from an X Flex in a driver, does it stand to reason I would benefit from it in a 3 wood also?  While I generally hit my 3 wood straight, it has a slight tendency to spray.. sometimes a slight draw, sometimes a slight fade.  No major hooks/slices.

Reshafting my hybrid with an X helped accuracy and consistency, at a slight cost of feel.  You're probably a good player, if your misses with your 3 wood are more than 15-20 yards from center (each way) and you struggle keeping the trajectory low, you might consider something stronger for the 3 wood.

I have the same shaft in my driver and 3W. Tested them both before buying. Both have R.flex Fuji E360 with midkick | low-mid torque. I hit them rather well if I just keep my head still.

But, I'm a 19 HDCP and you are a 4. Single-digit people seem more likely to have different shafts in their driver and fairway wood(s) to get different effects from them.

Mid-cappers like me: I just like the equivalent feel, and that the D and 3W are from the same model and are easy to set up.

Focus, connect and follow through!
