Broke a ball!

I set up a place in my garage to be able to hit balls off an old area rug and into some padding I set up. Went out tonight and after a few swing I hear a funny noice after hitting the ball and thought WTH. Looked at my club and nothing so I picked up the ball I have been using. It's a Nike PD Long and it's cracked about half way around with a small chunk taken out of it. Been hitting the same ball for about a week and I guess its limit was 500 or so hits. Guess I need to start switching up.

I have hit a few in pieces on the course, its pretty funny seeing two bits zing off in different directions. Good ole' rule 5-3.
