has anyone tried any "Full Release Grips sssss "? just curious as to how they are.

you mean the FEEL Release grips? if so, i have and now use one on my putter.  couldn't quite get used to the reverse taper for the rest of my clubs.

Feel is the brand but believe it or not they are called "Feel's Full release grips". Anyone with a dirty mind could get a chuckle.

I will say that I wish all my midsize grips had substantially less taper on them so I layer tape under my right hand. These seem like a good idea but for me its just going too far.

I have them on my 56 and 52 degree wedges. I like them for short shots around the green, but not so much on full swings. I won't buy them again when these ones need replacing.

      _sigh_ so close to red text.  Went away for three days, but didn't do a practice morning-of-departure (Friday) nor evening-of-return (Sunday), so I had three misses, back to day one. Day 1, May 4 2026.  At home today, spent nearly an hour in my practice room, hitting about three dozen practice balls, primarily with my 6-iron.

      Day 254 5-4 Arms off chest in backswing and downswing. Short swing, pause and then hit.  Hit foam balls. Keeping arching of wrist a focus as well.

      I would think of it in terms of time. The time it takes to get the arm angle into a good position to deliver the club with proper shaft lean. Another component is rotation, but that is also a matter of timing. It relates to how the body stalls to give the golfer time to hit the ball. If you have to get 80+ degrees out of that right elbow in one third of a second versus 50 degrees in the same time then you have to steal time from somewhere. It is usually body rotation. That does not help with shaft lean.  I agree in that amateurs tend to make the swing more complicated than pro golfers.
