I live in Iowa so this week has really been the only time to go out and golf since last october.

Im a senior in high school and yesterday we had our senior skip day so we decided to hit the golf course for the first time since last year.

Overall i was happy with my first round. We played 9 holes and i pared 4 of them but with my 9 iron through my 3 wood, and sometimes my driver if im not careful, i have a huge hook.

i dont think its because im overswinging but i guess theres no way to tell but the path of the ball even starts off with a little pull and then then goes the huge hook.

what could i be doing wrong?

It's just timing, it's too early in the year to be critiquing...  Hit some balls it will likely work itself out.

I had no idea where the ball was going on Tuesday, my first round.  I scored ok , but dang the ball just went where it wanted to.

Don't sweat it.

You might have to change your name to Dr Hook?
