I just tried it for the first time today after I downloaded it last night. It was awesome!!! Very helpful!

In my Ogio bag.

Titleist 910D2 driver, Adams irons & hybrid, Callaway wedges & a Nike Method putter.

And a yellow ball.

Looking at your swing won't be as easy since the iPhone video doesn't have enough fps to capture it all and whatever it catches, it is blurry. Looking at models is pretty clear.

For 99 cents it will give you a great picture of what is going on.  Just think if Hogan had one back in the day.  Impact can be a little tricky with only 30 fps, but you can catch it perfectly at times and you can see angles coming into and out of the zone.  It is worth the money and then some.  Like I said on a previous thread, I tried it out in my garage and immediately found a set-up problem so it paid for itself and never made it out to the course.

I have had it for some time now and use it often at the range. With an iPhone 4 the quality is excellent with a high enough frame rate to really step through your swing. I also export the videos to my desktop and import them into Analyzr which is another fantastic (Mac only) swing analysis app.

Anyone have a good idea on how to video yourself?  I am thinking about rigging something to an alignment pole and sticking it vertically into the ground.

Couldn't you just have someone record you while you swing?

Sure, but it is a little awkward asking random strangers to video your swing.  I usually ask a friend, but lately I want to see a chip or putt as well and it would just be easier to do it myself.

Pegs? Not sure what that means unless they are small rods. This is my new #1 app!

When I tried iSwing out there was a limit of 3 seconds to recording time and it just felt clunky and annoying to use. I tried SwingReader Free after that and loved it so I bought the full SwingReader to use with my Joby Gorillapod and it's like night and day.

The only issue now is a recent upgrade to iPhone 4 rendering my Gorillapod useless as it's for my old 3GS which the wife has. Ho hum! ;)

What kind of gorillapod is it? I have been thinking about getting one the the attachments for my iPhone 4 to use to film my swing.  They are kind of expensive though unfortunately.

The old one I had was the GorillaMobile for 3G/3GS (http://joby.com/store/gorillamobile/3g) which was great. I managed to pick one up for £15 GBP on eBay.

For the iPhone 4 though the price is £10 more than the 3GS version (http://joby.com/store/gorillamobile/iphone4/). I'll keep my eyes peeled for it cheaper but the best I've found so far is £29 from a little-known UK retailer; that's still twice the price of the old one though. :(
