I just joined the forum today. I've been looking for a decent golf forum for some time now and I'm hoping this might be the one.

I'm just learning the lay of the land; is there a good rules section here?

We're open to creating a section specifically for Rules, but thus far we've had less interest in discussing the Rules of Golf than other areas like how to improve at golf, equipment, discussion of the Tours and the players and events, etc.

No, I was asking mostly about the Rules of Golf. I find they make a great discussion.

I thought the only rule specific to golf forums was related to driving average. If it's really over 290 yards, keep it under your hat.
