Hello,

I have a question concerning the weight system on my R7 460, 9.5 degree Driver.

There is 2 weights 14 & 2 , I understand the settings for either draw or fade, but what if you want to just naturally Hit a straight shot without and correction of either fade or draw, are there other weights that can be purchased if so does anyone have a calculation for such settings as I mentioned.

I would rather correct the swing for either a fade or draw then have the club compensate, that is just a band aid im my mind.

Thanks

You can buy additional weights for your R7 460. I have the TP version and have two identical weights for a neutral setting; 10 & 10. Your local golf shop should carry them or you can check ebay (always get the OEM version, not the fakes).

Good luck!

Thanks Big Al

I cant believe none of the pro shops out here in Vegas sell the weights seperatly, you have to order them online.

That is odd they don't stock them. When you look online, try to find the TP kit as there are more weights to choose from.

If you want to hit it straight just set the weights even ie the two heavy ones at the front and the light ones at the back that will give you a lower ball flight though or put the heavy ones at the back and the light ones at the front that will give you a slightly higher flight. You can get weights online theres no point though they are a rip off and you dont need them yours will do the job.

The R7 460 only has 2 weight ports.

To the OP: one thing to be careful with is swingweight.  RIght now your club has 16 grams of total "added" weight.  You might want to look for two 8 gram weights so that the overall weight and swingweight of the club doesn't change.

I bought a weight kit that came as a free throw in with a spare headcover that I bought. I've fiddled with it a few times but I don't adjust it often. I have used it to change the swingweight a few times though.
