I vote for Bubba, he has proved himself as best golfer. Most important, he pointed out shortage of Tiger's golfing!

I voted for Mickelson since currently he has the best/closest mathematical chance to reach the summit right now. But the truth is, Kuchar, who is probably going to play more often, probably has the best overall chance, or at least will wind up with the most chances to move up the board. It's my belief that Matt is trying to strike while the iron is hot, his swing is in good shape, and if he gets the putter rolling, he'll be hard to beat as he seems to hit lots of greens in regulation. (nope, I haven't checked his stats yet.)

Kuchar may have the best chance among the guys with a pedigree. Mickelson, Stricker, and Furyk will likely win more events than Matt, but age and health are not on their side. They all seem like good guys in their own way (as "good" as multi millionaire professional athletes get anyway) and they'd make great number ones, but in reality, they're just holding the seat warm for one of the "young guns". They just need to win a major or two and then the floodgates will open. Not Tigeresque championship floodgates, but a Watson, Norman, Faldo, Vijay, Ernie type career is out there for someone (or a few someones).

PS. I mean other than Tiger - of course he could have a great summer and be #1 again, but his putter and his knee may have something to say about that.
