I understand the tees in the armpit s drill and that you want the upper arms against the torso all the way so my question is this. Do you keep the arms on the torso where they are when you set up and your arms only go back as far as your rotation will take you or do you still keep connected but move arm(s) (especially front arm, right for me as I'm a lefty) across your body so get more motion/speed on the downswing but all while keeping them against torso. And yes I understand the straightening of the back leg and feet flared out to get more hip rotation and in turn getting more torso rotation, I'm simply asking on terms of how much or little the arms move..... or does it just depend on the club, wedges simply turn torso no arms and longer clubs ie driver more arms to get more distance?

Any help would be great, I'm going to work on my connection over lunch and hopefully this will give me a better understanding of what I want to feel.

This, I would think. The pressure is allowed to increase between your lead arm and chest as you reach the top of the backswing.

If I'm picturing what you're describing correctly, this sounds awkward and a bit forced. That said, this feeling may work well for someone out there. I know for me, personally, it wouldn't probably.

To be safe, it doesn't hurt for you to start a My Swing thread (if you haven't already) and post the swing. There are a lot of members here who are Stack and Tilt enthusiasts who can assist you. Plus you might get lucky, and an instructor will respond.

Thanks for your reply! I know I need to put up a vid but rarely do I hit the range with anyone, maybe the g/f will do me a favor and go with me sometime.  I started S&T last year (on my own that is only book, here, and youtube vids) and the year ended pretty well scores from early spring were 110 range and end of fall were pretty consistant 85-87ish  then winter came and had knee surgery and couldnt do anything for a few months and now all has gone to crap... so in short I guess this is me just thinking out loud with the conclusion of yes get a video up and get some help from those in the know. Once again I thank you for your reply!

Just get a tripod, you'll get the angles correct with no human error (shaking) involved.

Being injured sucks. I know your pain. Just don't try to rush out of the gates, you know? Warm-up correctly, do your drills, have some fun, work on solid contact or whatever specific thing you're doing, and just accept the results for the day if you don't got it that day. You'll get your touch back after a little while.
