As I sit and read threads on here of people playing their first rounds of the year, or people saying they've played 10+ times this year, it makes me sad because I won't be playing til mid-June.  Albeit, I'm in college, and my education comes first before golf, but I really miss golf.  After Hockey season ended for me (happened when the Blackhawks lost), I've started paying attention to golf and it sucks that I won't be able to play til mid-June when I go back home.

The closest things i have to playing legit golf is that I have a medicus iron that i can swing in my backyard hitting whiffle balls on days when it isn't raining. I feel like my swing has been constant throughout winter after swinging with it a couple times a week, but I have no way of testing it.  Another way, I keep golf alive is playing TWoods on PS2, but that gets too easy once the character has decent attributes.

I think I had it worse.  I couldn't play after New Years' Day until March, despite the weather permitting it here in So Cal.  Like you, I was busy with school.  But I had to look outside and see that I could have been playing.

I've played over 10 times so far this year but to do so I've had to endure some brisk and windy days on some mucky courses.
