Were my eyes deceiving me, or did I see several pros with pants that had.....

... split hems?  I hope they're not the 'in' thing this year in golf wear.  They looked a bit effeminate to my eyes.  Reminded me of my wife's Capris.

IMO, they're like any other fashion design, there are times that they're trendy and times that they aren't.  Right now, they seem to be on the "upswing".  I'm with you though, I don't care for them.

yeah, they have been wearing them for at least 5 years. 5 years ago a lot of younger guys were weating them now just a lot of guys in general are wearing them. I played at Whisper Rock about 3 or 4 years ago and all they had in the proshop were split hem pants. for about $200 a pop!


Try a pair on. See how awesome they are to play in (nice break in your pants, they look really good if you have decent golf shoes on, etc.). Stop worrying about being effeminate; it's very effeminate.
