Hi all, First I know that I'm no good to you without a video, sadly I don't have a camera or anything to really record my swing. Anyway I was wondering if anybody had some ideas as to why I'm hitting a huge fade/ slice with my long irons and the occasional mid. The story is that at the beginning of the season I fought and won my battle with slicing everything, mainly of course my driver. Recently through a swing change ( not going ott and swinging more inside out) my driver and woods have been dead on with maybe a minor fade. But my long irons and occasional mid irons seem to be slicing like crazy! It is possible I'm still coming in too steep with them, but i would think that if I don't with my longest club ,everything else would be falling into place too? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Without seeing your swing I am just taking a shot in the dark but I would try to emphasize closing the face through the ball.

Could you possibly be leaving the face of the club open through impact?

Try :

1 : Put a towel/head cover/glove under your back armpit, don't let it fall during the swing. Promotes and in to out swing path eliminating your slice.

2: When standing over the ball, try putting your back foot slighty behind the front. So they're not in a straight line anymore. I do this when I am wanting to hit a nice draw.

It's hard to really give useful info without seeing your swing but try those 2 things out.
