Last year I bumped into my old set when browsing through the garage for things to sell at a flea market. They are the Wilson Staff Tour Fluid Feel of about 1987 and well as I praticed really a lot in those days..... it is clear where the sweetspots are ...... the 3i has the size of a ball ...... pfff ..... how in the world we were able to hit 200+ yds balls with these ?

Anyway I took these to the range a few times and well the mid irons - wedges are still nice to hit musscle blades.

I plan to refurbish these, just to honour them, play them once in a while, but I am no metal worker, any ideas ?

Really all you can do that is not purely cosmetic is refurbish the groves and get new shafts and grips.

IF your looking for a more cosmetic repair a grind stone followed by 400 grit sand paper followed by steel wool can do wonders.
