Driver, fairway woods, Irons (new forged still getting used to). Wedges well...i dont hit them consistently enough on full shots to consider them in the talk plus usually find myself in between 110 and 150 on shots into the green.

Just can't seem to figure out my "push". shots for my big stick are strong and strait and slowly fade off. my irons start off right and continue to go right abruptly. I've recently noticed I was bringing the club inside quite a lot and that naturally my swing through comes back around the ball. I tried starting outside and bringing it back inside and push out and away while turning my hands.worked more than expected but still occasionally pushing the ball right. Could it be my alignment? or swing path? or hands at contact? ive done a good job at getting better in my first year of golf on my own. recently bought a tour striker and was hitting the ball well with every club before my iron change. just need some advice thanks!

I'd check alignment first. Are you constantly landing right of where you thought you were aiming?

What kurisu said, alignment.  Check your shoulders first.  If you tend to have a left to right ball flight, chances are you may be closing your shoulders a bit to compensate for your 'over the top' swing.  Also, make sure you are turning your wrists over as you strike the ball. Good luck!

I dont think its my alignment. More than likely swing path. My takeaway seemed inside by a large margin so I tried reversing the motion a little by taking my swing a little more outside so I could bring the club inside on the front end..still struggling though. Noticeable difference in my driver but still struggling with turning my hands with my irons

I had the same issue. I was pushing and pulling with a HUGE slice mixed in every once in a while with the driver. I took a look on video and was shocked to a see a VERY flat swing plane. I did some range work with what "felt" like an exaggerated turn down of the left shoulder or side tilt and my normal draw came back quickly. Driver and long clubs have been mucho better the last three rounds. I was struggling to break 90, but now am comfortable mid/low 80's the last three rounds.

yea i know with my irons my first set was standard length and lie and im 6'4" and had to "sit in" to my stance just to make the club hug the ground so it flattened my plane out. Getting used to +1 long 2 deg. up has been a problem. But now that my swing is more vertical i tend to come around the ball and then it pushes right about 15 yards of my target line. I've played around with my swing and now when teeing up (driver or iron) i see my natural ball flight start left of my body and soft baby fade back to my target. I dont mind it at all, but off the tight lies im still roughly 5 yard right of my line. i occasionally try the high draw but still dont get much going.

ive only been playing for almost exactly a year. im 20 and picked up the game on my aunts reference to my "natural" swing. and i needed a challenge now that college basketball is about done for me. love this game. ive done alot to improve on my own and now on the brink of breaking 40 after shooting mid 40's last year. but now im considering our local golf pro for a session or two just to tighten the screws. i could get it to even par by the end of my season.
