How can a discussion of swing speeds be taking place ACCURATELY if you don't have any idea what your swing speeds are at full bore or with alterations such as a 3/4 swing, punch shot, safety or guide it down the fairway swing, the a$$ puckering swing, a knockdown, etc.

There's only one way to know for sure and nobody has mentioned it so far...
buy either one of these and carry it in your bag for range use to find out.

This device is invaluable and will also help you to determine what swing changes are working positively or negatively as soon as you strike the ball. It will also help to figure out whether you have the correct shaft in your clubs.

I finally got around to using a speed stick I saw at a golf shop, that was on sale, used--I took it over to the hitting range and gave it a whack. I normally swung at about 95-100mph, if I laid into it, I'd top out at 105-110.

I have to say that until about 5 years ago there was only hit it as hard as possible. Now that my kids are playing and trying to swing as hard as possible I have been able to see the errors of my ways. Take more club, slow down, keep the ball in play and it's all fairways and greens. Remamber it's not how, it's how many.

This is a subject I was just thinking about.

Right now, I have two driver swings, a longer and a shorter. But, sometimes on both of those swings I change the speed based on conditions. I really want to keep the same tempo on both swings due to inconsistent results.

So, answer is that I have multiple swing speeds and I'm going to make an effort to just have a single swing speed.

I have a preferred speed.
I also have an uncanny ability to swing it a lot faster than that when I least want it to happen.

    • Imma throw a dart in the dark as no one can tell what is happening once every fourth iron shot per your OP. This might sound counterintuitive but if ball position is too far back in the stance folks are known to throw down clubhead steeply. Could be happening. And yes, @billchaois not wrong; clubhead tends to bottom out wherever your pressure is. So slide forward (not sway), then hit.
    • Day 300 (!): did a stack session.
    • Day 24: Missed my weekly round due to a last minute little league makeup game this morning. Managed to get in some backswing rehearsals while grilling sausages for dinner, and then putted around the office/laundry room after dinner.
    • but I don't understand how that's possible you still want your head to stay back you don't want the upper body coming forward and plus I've tried feeling that and it made my fat shots worse and I then tend to pull and sky all my shots especially with driver because I get in front of it dont need force plates to see i finish on my left side
